Brexit and Your Business: Future Customs Arrangements
The next chapter of Brexit is less than 6 months away with the transition period ending on 31st December 2020. On 1st January 2021, the current temporary measures whereby the UK, although now no longer a member of the EU, is treated from a customs and trade perspective as being a member of the EU, will no longer apply.
No-one knows at this stage what the future trading relationship will be between the UK and Ireland/EU. Businesses need to prepare now for all possibilities.
This free webinar, co-hosted by CILT Skillnet and CILT Ireland, will focus on the new customs rules and changes that will apply between Ireland/EU and the UK from 1st January 2021.
Preparing your own business for the new trading environment is vital to ensure you do not suffer delays or loss of business post Brexit.
Understanding these new rules and the costs, stakeholders and workflows associated with them will allow you to make the right decisions for your business.
The topics discussed will include:
Preparing your own Business's Data
Incoterms 2020 for your Business
Your Brexit Checklist
The webinar will also outline the training and education offerings available to help businesses prepare for continuing trade with or through the UK.
A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
The webinar is relevant for all businesses importing or exporting products to, from and through Great Britan and Northern Ireland. It is also relevant for those using the UK land bridge for access to/from continental Europe.
The webinar will be delivered via Zoom by Brian Murphy of Global Trade.
Registered participants will be emailed the link to the webinar prior to the commencement time.
A recording of the presentation will be available following the webinar. If you are unavailable to attend the live webinar, you may register for the webinar as normal and the recorded webinar will be available to you after the event.
