FTA Ireland have developed this unique training course for the haulage sector. It will bring participants through the most important issues and tangible effects of Brexit on their transport operation and will conclude with an FTAI ‘Brexit Preparedness Guide’. The course showcases the important role played by transport operators in the logistics and supply chain sector and demonstrate the importance of being Brexit ready in order to remain competitive.

Who Is This Course For?
This course is aimed at Directors, Transport and Fleet Managers, International Hauliers delivering to the UK and those who transit the UK via the landbridge.
Learning Outcomes
This course is designed for people working in the logistics and transport sector who wish to update their customs knowledge in light of the dangers posed by Brexit. The course will bring participants through the most important issues and tangible effects of Brexit on their transport operation and company and will conclude with an FTAI Brexit preparedness guide. The course will showcase the important role played by transport operators in the logistics and supply chain sector and demonstrate the importance of being Brexit ready in order to remain competitive.
Participants on the course will learn about customs in a holistic manner in order to understand and appreciate the various customs stakeholder’s motivations and be better placed to have a strong working relationship with customs officers and other relevant government agencies (i.e. Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine), resulting in efficient operations and satisfied customers.
Following completion of the course participants will be better placed to be Brexit resilient.

This is a virtual course delivered by FTA Ireland via Zoom.
The course is will take place over 3 1/2 hours.
Course Evaluation, Assessment & Grading
Upon completion of the course there will be a quiz consisting of multiple-choice questions based on the material in the course.
Course Requirements
A computer with internet access sufficient for live streaming is required.
In order to participate fully and enable us to provide proof of learning all course attendees must download the free Turning Point app before the training commences – free download from the Google play store or apple store. This is used for the course evaluation and course feedback.
Once installed as the training begins, the trainer explains how it works in tandem with the training and how to log in using the app i.e. when prompted type in the “session ID” (provided when the course starts), your first name, surname.
